Survey Research Division (SRD)
The Social Development Research Group, School of Social Work, University of Washington, is your partner in
high quality survey research.
CSDE has partnered with the UW Social Development Research Group’s Survey Research Division to support our
affiliates in planning and implementing projects with primary data collection needs.
For over 10 years as part of the Social Development Research Group, the Survey Research Division (SRD) has
set the standard of excellence in achieving high response rates and excellent data quality across multiple survey
modes. SRD has the staff, technology and expertise to design, build, host and administer web surveys that get
high participation, and to conduct computer assisted interviews with diverse populations.
The Survey Research Division can provide you with any of the following services at any stage in your project:
- Data Collection: subject recruitment, subject locating and tracking, survey development, and data collection via
- Telephone
- Web
- In person
- School-based
- Mail
- Focus Groups
- Mixed Mode
- Data Management: data entry, scanning of paper documents, data cleaning, merging of simple or complex data sets,
record retrieval, and descriptive analysis and reporting.
- Programming & IT Solutions: web programming and hosting, computer-assisted interview programming and hosting, and the
development of subject tracking databases.
